Information we collect

On-device data

SuDoKew stores your gameplay progress, puzzle history, statistics, and preferences locally on your device. This data is created and used entirely on the device; we do not receive or have access to it.

Data collected through advertising

SuDoKew displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. When the app loads or shows an ad, AdMob collects:

• your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or equivalent),
• approximate location derived from your IP address,
• device and operating-system information (model, OS version, language, country),
• information about your interactions with ads (impressions, clicks, dismissals).

Where required by law, this collection is conditioned on your consent, which we request through Google's consent dialog before any non-essential data is processed.

How we use information

We and our advertising partner use the information collected through ads to:

• deliver, render, and measure advertisements within the app,
• limit how often the same ad is shown to you (frequency capping),
• detect and prevent fraudulent ad activity,
• maintain the app's advertising performance.

On-device gameplay data is used only to provide app functionality and remains under your control on the device.

Sharing with third parties

We share advertising-related data with Google LLC through its AdMob and related advertising services. Google acts as an independent controller for the purposes described in Google's Privacy Policy and the Google AdMob privacy notice. Google may share this data with measurement and ad-network partners participating in its mediation and bidding services in order to deliver the ads you see.

We do not share data with any other third parties.

Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

We rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR and equivalent laws:

• Consent for personalised advertising and any optional data uses, collected through Google's consent dialog. You may withdraw consent at any time through the same dialog or your device settings.
• Legitimate interests for non-personalised advertising, fraud prevention, and ensuring the security and reliable operation of the app.
• Performance of a contract to provide the SuDoKew application functionality you have requested.

Your rights

EEA, UK, and Switzerland

If you are located in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you,
• request correction of inaccurate data,
• request erasure of your data,
• restrict or object to processing,
• request portability of your data,
• withdraw any consent you have given,
• lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

California

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to:

• know what personal information is collected, used, shared, or sold,
• access and obtain a copy of your personal information,
• request correction or deletion of your personal information,
• opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising,
• limit the use of sensitive personal information,
• not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

International transfers

Data collected by Google AdMob may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. Google relies on safeguards approved under applicable data-protection law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, for these transfers.

Data retention

On-device data is retained on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained in accordance with Google's published retention policies.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the limited data we process. Data handled by Google AdMob is protected by Google's own security controls.

Children

SuDoKew is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updated versions are released with new versions of the app, and the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change.
